Matrika Yadav reaches NCP mass meeting venue on a wheelchair

KATHMANDU: Matrika Yadav, a standing committee member of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction and former minister, who was injured in police intervention in Janakpur on the day of the general strike, reached the protest site in a wheelchair.

Yadav reached Bhrikuti Mandap in a wheelchair to participate in the protest rally organized by the Prachanda-Nepal faction.

Santosh Bista, who was Yadav’s personal secretary when he was a minister, has posted a picture of him on Facebook.

The Prachanda-Nepal faction is agitating against the Prime Minister’s recommendation after the President dissolved the House of Representatives on December 20.
