Taskforce elicits recommendations for reviewing school level curriculum framework



KATHMANDU: The taskforce constituted to review the school level curriculum has elicited recommendations from stakeholders.

The taskforce formed to timely review the National Curriculum Framework, 2076 BS has sought suggestions as per its action plan.

Through its official website, the Curriculum Development Center has disclosed its designated format to receive suggestions and recommendations sought publicly on the framework.

The 98th meeting of the National Curriculum Development and Evaluation Council presided over by Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel, on last April 24 had formed a taskforce under the coordination of Dean at the Kathmandu University School of Education, Prof Dr Balcnandra Luintel.

As the national curriculum framework, 2076 had completed its five-year cycle in 2080, its review has been put on priority, it is shared.

The taskforce comprises Dr Lekhnath Paudel, Dr Amina Singh, Pabitra Bahadur Gautam, Dr Pramod Bhatta, Gyanendra Malla, Sagendra Shrestha, Richa Neupane, and Rewati Karki as the members and Director General at Curriculum Development Centre, Yubaraj Paudel as the member-secretary.
