Two killed in truck accident



KATHMANDU: Two persons died in a road accident at Kapri of Jagannath rural municipality-6 in Bajura district this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Mohan Joshi, 42, of Banke district and BP Shahi of Tajakot rural municipality-3, said Assistant Sub-Inspector at Juddi Police Post, Bir Singh Thagunna.

The accident took place when a truck (Bhe 1 Kha 3468) heading towards Humla from Nepalgunj fell some 500 meters down from the cliff.

A truck driver and driver’s helper died on the spot in the accident. Police have been carrying out further investigation into the incident.
