KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has dismissed the writ petition demanding postponement of the Nepali Congress (NC) General Convention slated for late November.

NC Bagmati lawmaker Narottam Vaidya had filed a writ petition at the court demanding to stop the convention citing coronavirus pandemic situation.

A single bench of Justice Anil Kumar Sinha Thursday ordered to dismiss the writ petition.
