Suspicious object found near Old Baneshwor



KATHMANDU: A suspicious object has been found near Old Baneshwor in the capital on Thursday morning.

The object was found at the toilet of Matrika Eye Center at Maitidevi,  informed SSP Ashok Singh of Metropolitan Police Range Office, Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, security personnel have cordoned the area and a bomb disposal team has been deployed to the incident site.

A security situation has been tightened in the Kathmandu Valley in view of the demonstration against US Agency for Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Vice President Fatema Sumar’s Nepal visit.
