Nepse decreases by 23.22 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepse index has decreased by 23.22 points on Tuesday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2,461.88 points.

A total of 1,24,82,428 shares of 210 companies were traded 52,591 times resulting in the transaction of Rs 4.75 billion today.

The indicators of all the groups except three went red with the hotel and tourism group’s decrease by 2.98 percent, the hydropower group by 1.80 percent and the mutual fund group by 0.07 percent.

Likewise, the banking group decreased by 1.21 percent, development bank group by 0.86 percent, finance group by 0.39 percent, investment group by 1.38 percent, life insurance group by 1.21 percent, manufacturing and processing group by 1.67 percent, microfinance group by 1.11 percent

Similarly, the non-life insurance group has decreased by 0.90 percent, other groups by 1.02 percent and trade group by 1.35 percent.

In the declining market, the index of five companies has increased by more than 9 percent today. Himalayan Energy Development Company’s share price increased the most at 9.97 percent, while investors in Chandragiri Hills gained by 9.92 percent.

The share turnover of Shikhar Insurance Company has been the highest in today’s market. The company had a turnover of Rs 653.54 million. Similarly, Upper Tamakoshi had a turnover of Rs 296.77 million,  with Arun Valley Hydro Power of Rs 293.26 million, Nepal Infrastructure Bank of 25.49 million and Nepal Telecom Company of Rs 176.584 million following it.
