Nepal sees 764 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 764 new cases of coronavirus while 1,033 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 715 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 49 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 229 cases in Kathmandu, 25 in Bhaktapur and 68 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 322 in past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether ten infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death toll 12,210.
