KMC launches Dashain-focused 3-day vaccination campaign starting today



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is administering COVID-19 vaccines to all the eligible people targeting the Dashain festival from today.

Vero Cell vaccines are being administered at all the vaccination centers of 32 wards and other recently added centers.

Apart from 32 wards, vaccination will also take place at Nepal Police Hospital, Bir Hospital, Civil Service Hospital, Thapathali-based Prasuti Griha, Birendra Military Hospital.

“A three-day vaccination program people above 18 years of age is being launched from today,” said Hari Bahadur Kunwar, the chief of the health department of KMC.

People have to go to a nearby vaccination center with identity cards along with their electronic registration numbers.

The vaccination program will take place from 10 am to 4 pm.
