Former Secretary Shrestha passes away



KATHMANDU: Former Secretary at the Ministry of Law and Member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Strategic and Socio-Economic Research (ISSR), Narendra Man Shrestha passed away on Thursday.

He succumbed to coronavirus while undergoing treatment on a ventilator at the Dhumbarahi-based HAMS Hospital.

Shrestha had a working history in legal services along with strong professional skills in treaty negotiation, treaty drafting, legislative drafting, policy analysis, Human Rights, among others.

He had also served as a Legal Consultant with Election Commission in 2017.
