MAKAWANPUR: The police have confiscated a large cache of marijuana from Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City-5 in Makawanpur district on Thursday.
The seized contraband weighing approximately 121 kilograms was hidden in a Bolero vehicle (Province 3-01-022 Cha 7237), said the district police office.
The vehicle driver fled the scene right after he saw a police vehicle on a patrol, said the police, adding that a search has been launched for the fleeing driver and investigations were underway.
