Sudurpaschim province records zero COVID death

DHANGADI: No COVID-19 related death was recorded Tuesday in Sudurpaschim province, the first in the past two months.

According to the provincial health directorate, 293 infection cases were recorded in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday afternoon in 1,521 samples tested in the RT-PCR method.

With this, the total cases of the virus infection have reached 41,869 till Tuesday in the province. Likewise, 436 infected have recovered from Monday to Tuesday in the province.

The Health Directorate shared that four patients are with ventilator support, eight in ICU and 14 in a COVID-19 isolation ward in the province.
