Power outage at these places in Kathmandu tomorrow



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has stated that the power supply to various places in Kathmandu will be cut off on Saturday.

The power authority stated that the power supply will be cut off as the 11,000-volt high-tension line in Dhungedhara, Gooldhunga and Swoyambhu feeders has to be shifted for the expansion of the ring road.

According to a statement issued by NEA’s Balaju Distribution Center, the power supply will be cut off at various places in Nagarjun and Tarkeshwor municipalities from 11 am to 3 pm.

The power supply will be cut off in Dhungedhara, Banasthali, Chamati, Raniban, Bhrukuti Tole, Nepaltar, Goldhunga, Tinpiple, Osho Tapoban, Swoyambhu, Sanobharyang, Thulobharyang, Ichangunarayan, and Karkhana Chowk.

According to NEA, the power supply will resume ahead of schedule if works complete before the scheduled time.
