Nepal sees 315 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley sees 122 cases in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 315 new cases of coronavirus while 304 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 272 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 43 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 82 cases in Kathmandu, 9 in Bhaktapur and 31 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the valley to 122 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were two coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 11,545 in the country. There are 6352 active cases of coronavirus in Nepal as of Tuesday.
