KATHMANDU: The advocates of Nepal Bar Association (NBA) are holding internal discussions to dwell on further protest programs against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana from today.

The Nepal Bar is holding discussions with the office-bears of its 90 units across the country today and tomorrow said sources.
“The further agitations will be fixed following the discussions,” said NBA Chairman Chandeshwor Shrestha.

The advocates of the Nepal Bar had staged a demonstration in the Supreme Court and on the promises of the office of the Nepal Bar Association wearing black arm bands.

The Association has already said that it would launch a stringent protest if the Chief Justice Rana does not step down as soon as possible.
On the other land Rana seems adamant not to step down and has already rejected the proposal of ‘graceful exit’ floated by the Supreme Court Justices.

All the 19 Supreme Court Justices have been boycotting benches including those related to habeas corpus to pile pressure on Rana to resign from his post.
