Nepal witnesses sharp decline in COVID-19 cases, one death in past 24 hrs

KATHMANDU: Nepal has witnessed a sharp decline in COVID-19 cases with only 139 on Saturday.

Out of 932 swabs collected, the results of 139 came out to be positive yesterday.

Meanwhile, 649 patients recovered from COVID-19 during the period, according to the data maintained by the Ministry of Health and Population. Similarly, one succumbed to COVID-19 on Saturday.

Out of 814,417 people infected with coronavirus, 794,834 have recovered so far.

Currently, 8,144 people infected with COVID-19 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the country.
