Nepal sees 805 new COVID-19 cases, 8 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 294 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 805 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 667 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 138 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 207 persons in Kathmandu, 53 in Lalitpur, and 34 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 294 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 8 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 911 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
