Civil Service Day today; 40 employees being awarded



KATHMANDU: The 18th Civil Service Day is being observed across the country by organizing various programs today.

Civil Service Day is being celebrated under the slogan ‘Professional and Creative Administration: Development, Prosperity and Good Governance’ in the country.

Civil Service Day has been celebrated since 2061 BS in commemoration of the promulgation of the first Civil Service Act on Bhadra 22, 2013 BS (September 6, 1956).

Meanwhile, 40 employees will be awarded today on the occasion of Civil Service Day, 2078 BS.

It has been decided to give Outstanding Civil Service Award to 10 out of the awarded employees and 30 will be awarded with Civil Service Award this year.
