Nepal imports mobiles worth Rs 20.63 billion in six months



KATHMANDU: Mobile handsets of various companies worth Rs 20.63 billion have been imported to Nepal in the first six months of the current fiscal year.

According to the statistics of the Department of Customs, 3,664,630 mobile handsets were imported into the country during this period.

According to the statistics of the department, the import has almost doubled as compared to the same period last year.

In the first six months of the last fiscal year 2076/77, the country had imported 29.68 million mobile handsets worth Rs. 11.78 billion.
