KATHMANDU: A passenger bus has fallen into the Bheri River at Gurwakot in Surkhet.

According to SP Rajendra Prasad Bhat, the Chief of District Police Office, Surkhet, the bus fell into the Bheri River and the police have been sent for rescue work.

“We have received the report that a bus has fallen and have sent a team for rescue efforts,” SP Bhat said.

“We are going to the spot, we are collecting the details about the bus,” he added.

The bus plunged into the Bheri river from Chhinchu- Jajarkot road in Surkhet.
