KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) that had been seeing good days lately has set a new record today.
Earlier, the index improved by double-digits to 2,281 points on Wednesday and increased by 15.91 points today. At the same time, the NEPSE index has stopped at 2,194 points.
The index closed at 2,194.48 points on the last trading day of the week with a double-digit increase. The day has recorded a turnover of Rs 5.84 billion.
On the day when 11.7 million shares were bought and sold, all the sub-indices except others have improved. Eleven of the 12 sub-indices saw improved trading on the day.
The non-life insurance company sub-index has gone up by 144 points today. Everest Bank’s share price fell the most by Rs 28 per share on Thursday, the biggest decline of the day.
