Karnali province government working in a way people can feel: CM Kandel



JUMLA: Karnali Province Government Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel has said that the provincial government is carrying out works in such a manner that the people of the province can experience it.

Addressing a press meet organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) here today, he said he has been visiting the districts of the province to listen to the people there about the problems they are facing in order to address them through plans.

Chief Minister Kandel said that the provincial government is committed to proceeding with the plan and development in a new perspective, reiterating that the government under his leadership is formulating and implementing development plans keeping the service recipients at the center.

“The plans are not something that can be sold or bought. It is for the service recipients. There should not be any kind of political interference and decision-based on vested interest or injustice while formulating and implementing the plans,” he asserted.

According to the Chief Minister, the provincial government will implement only the plans aspired to by people and the plans that are capable of improving their living standards.

“The government is made aware not only on matters of development and construction but also on aspects of good governance and transparency,” he added.

Chief Minister Kandel stressed that the provincial government has adopted the policy of formulating long-term plans for Karnali’s development and aligning these plans with people’s needs.
