 17 cases of Omicron detected in India in single day



NEW DELHI:  Seventeen cases of new variants of COVID-19 ‘Omicron’ have been detected in India in a single day.

In the last 24 hours, nice cases of Omicron were found in Rajasthan, and eight were detected in Maharashtra. With this, the number of people infected with Omicron has reached 21 in India.

The cases of Omicron were detected in those who returned from South Kora and those who came into contact with them.

Earlier, the cases of Omicron had been detected in two people in Karnataka and one each in Gujarat and New Delhi.

Omicron has been detected in 25 countries including America, Australia, Britain and the Netherlands.
