Senior advocates boycott SC Bar Association’s tea party as CJ Rana was invited

KATHMANDU: Senior advocates have boycotted the Supreme Court Bar Association’s tea party Wednesday.

The SC Bar had held a tea party on the occasion of Dashain where Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana was also invited.

A senior lawyer said that they boycotted the tea party to give a message that they are against CJ Rana’s “bargain” for ministerial position to his relatives.

Meanwhile, CJ Rana, too, did not attend the tea party after receiving the message that senior advocates were boycotting the party because of him.
