Province 2 Chief rescues injured driver from Karnali



KATHMANDU: Province 2 Chief Dr Rajesh Ahiraj has rescued a mini-truck driver injured in a road accident at Chhinchhu in Surkhet district of Karnali Province.

According to District Police Office, Surkhet, driver Sher Bahadur Singh sustained injuries after a mini-truck he was driving and another vehicle with the registration no. Ba 5 Kha 4204, collided head on at Chhinchhu this afternoon.

Dr Ahiraj who was returning home from Karnali Province witnessed the accident and ferried Singh to Kohalpur Medical College for treatment in Banke, said police constable Surendra Singh.

According to Ahiraj, driver Singh has sustained injuries to many parts of his body including his head, and right.

Province 2 chief was returning home after visiting Karnali Province Chief Govinda Prasad Kanauli.
