KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana has convened a full meeting at Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Amid the rumors that CJ Rana sought participation of his people in the government and the backlash following it, the Chief Justice has called a full meeting to discuss on various issues ranging from the rumors ‘against the dignity of the judiciary’ and the task allocation during major festivals including Dashain and Tihar.

The meeting is called at Supreme Court premises at 1 PM.

The Supreme Court had refuted the allegations against the Chief Justice’s involvement in the cabinet expansion saying it was irrelevant.

Today’s meeting will discuss the agenda including deciding the names of the judges to hear the case during the festival.
