Two arrested on charge of black marketing hand sanitizer



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons from Lalitpur on the charge of black marketing hand sanitizers.

Police arrested operators of Om Nirmaya Health Care Pvt. Ltd. in Gwarko of Mahalakshmi Municipality on Friday.

According to Prajwal Maharjan, Superintendent of Police, Lalitpur Metropolitan Police, they were arrested on the charge of making sanitizers against the standards. The arrested are Amit Tamrakar, 44, of Morang’s Biratnagar Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 14 and Niresh Thapa, 43, of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 5.

Police have recovered 240 liters of hand sanitizer from them.
