Saraswati Puja being observed with enthusiasm



KATHMANDU: Saraswati Puja, the worship of the Goddess of Knowledge, is being celebrated across the country today.

The occasion falls on Shukla Panchami of the Nepali month, marking the beginning of the spring season, and is also known as Basanta Panchami.

Students have flocked to various Saraswati temples across the country to offer their prayers, seeking blessings for success in their studies.

Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge, music, arts, and literature, is revered by many for her wisdom and guidance.

Today is also considered an auspicious day for teaching the alphabet to beginners, as it is believed that starting education on this day will bring success and prosperity.
