KATHMANDU: Lawmaker and youth leader of CPN-UML Ram Kumari Jhankri has warned Prime Minister KP Oli to face the consequences of his ‘misdeeds’.

Offering the clue about the prospective move of UML Nepal-Khanal faction, leader Jhankri has twitted, on Wednesday, that PM Oli should be prepared to face the outcomes of  his actions.

PM Oli has already announced he will seek a vote of confidence on May 10.

Earlier,  PM and UML Chairman had been sidelining  the disgruntled Nepal-Khanal faction in all party committees.

“If you can spare yourselves from the prospective doom, better seek a safe side,” leader Jhankri has twitted, advising, “ Think rationally, give up the arrogance and stubbornness.”

Leaders of Nepal-Khanal function feel traumatized by the party establishment’s persistent letter seeking clarification and the threat of expulsion from the party.

Provided the disgruntled lawmakers resign en-masse, PM Oli’s government is sure to lose its majority. In that case, seeking support from Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) might not suffice to make him get the required vote.

JSP’s Upendra Yadav-Baburam Bhattarai faction has announced it would not support PM Oli. JSP Chairman Mahantha Thakur, however, is said to be on PM Oli’s side as of Wednesday.
