POKHARA: The special session of Gandaki Pradesh Assembly is taking place on Tuesday.
The special session of the provincial assembly will dwell on the coronavirus pandemic that has been taking a toll on the country since the past one year.
Unlike the other provincial assemblies, it will not discuss issues related to the change of the government.
The session has been called as per the demand of main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP).
The NC and JSP had jointly filed an application demanding the special session on December 15
in line with the provision laid down in the Constitution.
