PARBAT: Kushma, the administrative headquarters of Parbat district in Gandaki Province, offers adventure tourism enthusiasts yet another action sport.

Kushma which already boasts of the world’s highest bungee jump and second-longest superman zip line services now brings the ‘hydraulic swing’ into operation.

The Harness Pvt Ltd has chosen the Kaligandaki River to operate the swing. The swing will be installed over the Kaligandaki River.

According to company executive director Sunil Singh Baniya, Rs 8 million was invested to undertake the project. Five million rupees alone were spent on the foundation.

“We hope our efforts to promote extreme sports would contribute to adding another new dimension to the district’s tourism.”

As he claimed, this type of swing is already in operation in the United States of America, China, and South Africa. “But the uniqueness of our service is it is the tallest one measuring 52 feet.”
