Two killed, 10 injured in Baitadi jeep accident



DHANGADHI: Two people died and 10 others injured in a jeep accident in Baitadi Sunday morning.

The jeep — Se 1 Ja 739 — met with an accident at Sigas Rural Municipality-3 Lagan of Baitadi.

The jeep fell some 50 meters down the road.

Chief of District Police Office, DSP Ramesh Pal said that Man Singh Sawad, 45, and Ram Singh Dhami, 64, of Siga Village Municipality-3 died in the accident.

Four of the injured are in critical condition, police said.

The condition of 18-year-old Yogendra Dhami, 13-year-old Laxman Dhami, 45-year-old Jay Singh Dhami and 40-year-old Gaumati Saud is critical.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Pal said that they were being taken to Dadeldhura Hospital for treatment.
