KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana has called a meeting of the full court today.
Sources have said that the meeting will discuss issues related to the formation of the constitutional bench, amendment of the rules related to the formation of the bench, and expansion of the service of the apex court.
“The full court will sit on Friday,” the source said, adding, “The SC may take some important administrative decisions.”
The constitutional bench of the SC is hearing the case against the dissolution of the House of Representatives on Sunday.
In Tuesday’s session, Chief Justice Rana had said that the constitutional bench would be called on June 6 and that he would form a new constitutional bench on the basis of seniority.
