Construction of Kohalpur–Surkhet 132 kV transmission line nears completion

KAKREBIHAR: The construction of the Kohalpur–Surkhet 132 kV transmission line has entered its final stage, with preparations underway to charge the line by February 3.

According to project chief Rabi Chaudhary, only 500 metres of cable installation remain to be completed. The project, which began six years ago with a budget of Rs 700 million, has now achieved 100 percent physical progress.

Chaudhary said that testing of the transmission line will be completed in the coming week, and electricity is expected to be supplied within 15 days.
