Two arrested for bringing drugs inside gas cylinder

KATHMANDU: Police nabbed two persons involved in drug trafficking in a gas cylinder from Pharping based check post on Friday.

According to the Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu, the police found them bringing drugs while checking Ba 37 Pa 7137 coming from Birgunj to Kathmandu.

The alleged were found hiding the banned drugs Phenergan, diazepam and Nurofen inside a cylinder.

According to the police sources, the police recovered diazepam 577 ampoules, Phenergan 571 ampoules, and Nurofen 568 ampoules from them.

The arrested two are sent to Kirtipur police for further action, the source said.
