One killed in road accident in Bhimfedi



MAKWANPUR: A person has been killed when a container truck hit a motorcycle at Sanutar in Bhimfedi rural municipality of the district.

The accident occurred last night when a container truck — Na. 5 Kha. 8129 — hit the motorcycle –Na. 19 Pa. 896 — coming from the opposite direction.

Motorcycle rider Anish Khadka, 24, a resident of Hetauda sub-metropolis-5 died on the spot, according to Police Inspector at District Police Office, Makwanpur Avinash Adhikari.

The truck driver Madhukar Bista of Jitpursimara Sub-metropolis-22, Bara and its owner Suresh Ghalan,23, of Bhimfedi-2 in Makwanpur were injured in the accident.

Ghalan has been rushed to Chitwan for medical treatment while driver Bista is undergoing treatment at Churehill Hospital, Hetauda.

After hitting the motorcycle, the container truck fell some 100 meter below the road.
