Man held with rhino’s horn in Kailali



KAILALI:  Police have arrested a man in possession of a rhino’s horn in Kailali district.

The arrested has been identified as Nain Bahadur Kathariya, 58, of Bargagoriya rural municipality-4, said District Police Office, Kailali.

Acting on a tip-off, a police squad of Federal Police Office, Dhangadhi arrested Kathariya  with the horn concealed at an auto rickshaw, Na 3 Sa 5718, near Chhatiwan Community Forest  along the East-West Highway this morning.

Chief of Federal Police Office, Dhangadhi SSP Nal Prasad Upadhyaya said they are investigating the case after taking Kathariya into custody.
