Two held for robbing a foreign returnee

KATHMANDU: Two people have been arrested on the charge of robbing a foreign returnee.

Police arrested two motorcyclists who robbed a foreign returnee of his two mobile sets, Qatari Riyal 600 and a gold ring of 25 grams few days ago.

A police squad deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle, Gaushala arrested them with the robbed goods and handed him over to Gaushala Circle on November 1.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking them under into police custody.

Migrant workers have complained to have been robbed while returning home from foreign countries including Qatar, Dubai, Malaysia, of late.
