Mets forecast moderate to heavy rainfall today



KATHMANDU: The Hydrology and Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain in many places across the country Friday.

The weather throughout the country will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas.

The formation of a monsoon low-pressure line near the southern part of the country has increased the possibility of rain, it said.

The country is likely to witness rain and thundershowers at a few places of the hilly regions, the Department said.

Meanwhile, the weather tonight will remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the country.
