Rain damages roads, school in Doti

DOTI: Rain for the past few days has damaged roads, water supply infrastructure and school in Doti of Sudurpaschim Province.

According to the District Police Office, it is receiving more reports about damages caused by rains in several parts of the district. Roads in Bipinagar, Gadsera, Sayal, Adarsha and Mudbhara have developed cracks and eroded as well due to rain. Leeladhar Bista of Gadsera said that vehicles could not be operated on the rural roads here without restoration.

The rain for the past three/four days has caused a loss of millions of rupees to Barchhen Secondary School at Badikedar Rural Municipality-2.

According to school principal Indra Bahadur Bam, the school building has developed cracks while its boundary wall has collapsed following the continuous rain.
