Swiss Ambassador, Minister Badu hold talks



KATHMANDU: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dilendra Prasad Badu and Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, Elisabeth von Capeller have held courtesy meeting at former’s office in Singha Durbar on Tuesday.

In the meeting, Minister Badu said the cordial relations between Nepal and Switzerland would remain forever. He said the Swiss government has been supporting, collaborating and coordinating in the social, economic, judicial and good governance sectors, besides the infrastructure development sector in Nepal since long.

The Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs also said that the remaining works related to transitional justice would be carried out expeditiously as stated in the Common Minimum Program of the present government.

Ambassador Capeller stated that the Swiss government would continue its support in the social, economic and judicial development and promotion of good governance in Nepal. During the talks, she assured of her positive role towards deepening the bilateral relations between the two countries in the coming days, Ministry joint secretary and spokesperson Phanindra Gautam stated in a press release today.
