COVID-19 death toll crosses 5 million worldwide



KATHMANDU: The death toll from COVID-19 pandemic has crossed 5 million across the world.

According to the data collated by Worldometers, the number of deaths from the pandemic has reached 5,021,518 until the filing of this news.

The highest number of deaths has been recorded in America with 767,436 followed by Brazil with 607,954 and India with 458,470.

Similarly, the number of infected people from the virus across globally has crossed 247,894,708 with the highest number in America with 46,931,284 followed by India (34,285,814) and Brazil (21,814,693).
