Nepal sees 867 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley records 255 cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 867 new cases of coronavirus while 1,123 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 659 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 208 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 164 cases in Kathmandu, 26 in Bhaktapur and 65 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 255 in past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 9 infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking to COVID-19 death toll to 11,157 till date.
