Truck-hit claims motorcyclist



KATHMANDU: A person has died after being hit by a truck in Chandranigahapur along the East-West Highway.

The deceased has been identified as Sona Lal Chaudhari of Chandranigahapur municipality-2, Judibela. The accident took place when a motorcycle, Na 35 Pa 1893, Chudhari was riding, was struck by an Indian truck, UP 35 AT 4273, near a bridge at Judibela on Friday night, said District Police Office, Rautahat.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the driver and the truck involved in the accident under control.
