Children Vision Nepal hands over COVID-19 medical supplies to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital



KATHMANDU: Children Vision Nepal (CVN) has handed over COVID-19 medical supplies worth Rs. 3 million to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Maharajgunj, Friday.

The medical equipment and supplies were provided to support the hospital for COVID-19 control and treatment.

CVN Chairman Ramesh Silwal handed over the COVID-19 emergency supplies to the hospital team — comprising Executive Director, Deputy Director, and Administration Chief – through hospital’s Chief of Emergency Services Dr. Ramesh Kumar Shrestha at an event held on the hospital premises.

CVN Chairman Silwal informed that Founder & International Director Dr. Peter Patel of A Rotary Club of Birmingham UK had sent CVN the medical supplies worth Rs. 3 million for aiding Nepal’s fight against Covid-19. Silwal thanked Dr. Patel and A Rotary Club of Birmingham UK for sending the life-saving Covid-19 supplies.

CVN Chair Silwal has been running various programs for the benefit of children for the past one decade – ever since he was 17 — and was awarded the Social Service Gem Medal by the government last year.
