Police impound 270 vehicles for defying prohibitory orders in Sunsari



SUNSARI: The District Police Office, Sunsari, has taken action against 270 vehicles defying the prohibitory orders on Saturday.

Sunsari Deputy Superintendent of Police Narendra Kumar Karki said that action has been taken against the vehicles.

According to him, among the vehicles seized were 207 motorcycles, 58 three-wheelers, and five four-wheelers.

Meanwhile, the Sunsari District Administration has sealed the Mahendra Chowk area at Inaruwa-3.

Chief District Officer Umesh Kumar Dhakal said that the area was immediately sealed after two members of the same family succumbed to coronavirus and seven others were infected in three days.
