Eight held for theft at ward office in Bardiya



KATHMANDU: Eight persons allegedly involved in theft in a ward office in Bardiya have been arrested on Thursday.

According to Bardiya police, eight persons were arrested on the charge of stealing three computers and other materials from the ward office of Badaiyatal Rural Municipality-1, Bardiya.

Among the arrested are 23-year-old Yam Bahadur BC, 22-year-old Kamal Khadka, one minor and others all from the same locality.

Further investigation on the incident is underway, the police said.
