COVID-19: Nepal records 179 fresh cases, tally hits 2,77,640



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 179 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,77,640 in the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that the country has currently 1,647 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 111 have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country. 3565 PCR tests were carried out throughout the country.

So far, 2,72,962 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

The country witnessed no coronavirus related death in the last 24 hours. The coronavirus death tally of the country is 3,031 till date.
