KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a person on the charge of swindling two Australia job aspirants of Rs 900,000.

Based on a complaint lodged by the victims, a team of Metropolitan Crime Division, Kathmandu, arrested 23-year-old Amit Bhujel of Tarkeshwor municipality-8, from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16, Machhapokhari on Thursday.

Bhujel had taken Rs 900,000 from the two individuals promising them Australian visas.

The arrested have been sent to Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu for further investigation, said police.
