DANG: Four people have been injured in a wild boar attack in Dang district on Saturday.

The injured have been identified as Hira Devi Chaudhary, Shirish Giri, Dhaniya Chaudhary, and Mitthu Chaudhary of Lamahi Municipality.

They were attacked by a wild boar while collecting fodder near a community, according to the District Police Office, Dang.

Of the injured, who sustained leg injuries, Shirish and Mitthu were referred to Butwal from Lamahi Hospital for further treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Sumit Khadka, adding that the other two injured were receiving treatment at the hospital.
