Nepal records 316 new COVID-19 cases, three deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 150 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 316 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 285 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 31 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 119 persons in Kathmandu, 29 in Lalitpur, and 2 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 150 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, three more persons have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours taking the coronavirus death toll in the country 11,529 till date.

Meanwhile, 259 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
